Hi, no live TV guide anymore, its just disappeared.

Server dashboard says under the Alerts section:
Xml TV 1.1.0 installed on MYSERVER
23/02/2023, 19:58:00

I have a feeling the problem 'may' have started from then.

To troubleshoot I removed the XML TV Guide data source and readded it again pointing to my local  http://xmltv.net/xml_files/Sydney.xml all seems to add ok, and no errors. Can see http://xmltv.net/xml_files/Sydney.xml just fine from my Emby server. My Emby server still says I have a premiere subscription active. My TV tuners are working ok im sure.

Can someone help get my guide data back please.

Thank you.

I have the same issue since receiving the Xml TV update.

My xml source URL is http://xmltv.net/xml_files/Hobart.xml

I notice both @Mbedford & I are in Australia.

Edit:

On further investigation, I discovered that all my channel to guide mappings were missing under Settings > Server > Live TV > Channels.

So, I added them all back in then performed a guide refresh. Alas, still no EPG data showing in Live TV. Next I restarted Emby server... still no dice :(

The re-configured mappings have persisted in settings but I still have no EPG data.

Try refreshing the guide data. Maybe the xml didn't have data at that time? I just tested importing this url and it is working just fine for me.

HI Guys,

Can you check out the comment at the top of the page on https://xmltv.net ?  We've had some issues with the data which caused the files not to be updated in the last few days and are now trying a new data source.

You'll have to remap your channels and NOTE that THE FIRST day of EPG data will be EMPTY - this only happens the first time you map the channels though.  If you're having issues specifically with the files on xmltv.net, it is best you post on xmltv.net or on the GitHub discussion forum.

Remapping all channels to the relevant channel in the XMLnet feed seems to have fixed this. As mentioned, after remapping, leave for 24hrs for all channel EPG to return.

Quick update from me.

Guide data started presenting a couple of days after I first remapped the channels. It was solid for a couple of days, then the data vanished again. I checked the mappings and found once again that they'd all vanished. After re-configuring the mappings the second time, then refreshing the guide, the EPG data was again present.

Hopefully it'll persist this time.

Thanks @Luke & @markcs for your responses.

It does persist, but what's probably happening is data in either the tuner data or guide data is changing significantly.
