Download / copy playlist and files to another folder or to a computer.

Emby is increasingly my music organizer from both app and browser, and tagging songs. Mainly because I can do it from anywhere with the same library. This is really great. But integrating this process with other software and computers has been challenging.

When clicking 'download', the options are mobile software clients. It would be great to be able to download to Windows via browser. I guess like a software agent installed on my computer so that the computer would show up on the list. And /or alternatively / to copy the playlist as files into another folder on the same storage volume currently being managed by Emby.

Today in my download option, there is only mobile apps listed.

 

 

The closest I've gotten is to open up the playlists through the NAS itself. I can save the playlist from there but it's a UPNP list. I don't think I can save files from here.

If you use Theater Store app, you should be able to download those files locally (and have it in the list).

Very Cool.. I had no idea Emby Theater existed.

As a follow up, it would be nice if the playlist downloads to the computer had an option to save into a new folder named after the playlist, and optionally that it would not include all subfolder, just the files.

That said, I'm pretty psyched about this thing existing at all.
