jxb1234 9 Posted February 10, 2023 Share Posted February 10, 2023 My kids use emby on our wifi network, but when out of the home (not on home wifi), they cannot connect to emby. I have other users that are remote; they log in to the app using their emby account email and password which I have linked to their account on my emby server. The kids are not old enough to have email addresses, so how can I create accounts to allow them to connect to emby remotely? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ebr 14930 Posted February 10, 2023 Share Posted February 10, 2023 Hi. Connect is not necessary for remote access. it is just a convenience. If the kids already have the app installed on their phones, it should "just work" when they are also off-network. Assuming remote access is setup properly.
