import m3u playlist or similar not working

I have, via DNLA to my EMBY server version 4.7.8.0, made a playlist in VLC.

As I understand then it should be possible to drop this playlist in the music folder (on my emby server), where I have enabled the following :

"Playlists found in your media directories can be imported into Emby Server"

 

when I do that the the so called playlist do show up in the playlist menu of the "playlist menu"....

but when I hit the play button I´m met with the following pop-up : "No playable items were found. Are you trying to play an empty folder?"

I can play the playlist in all other players eg. windows media, VLC, etc....without problems ????

Where did those urls come from?

Did you generate a custom api key?

But have never created a m3u this way but looks like similar to the API.

I just use VLC..in the menu :

"Media > Save playlist to file"

==> save as type m3u

and that´s it.

I shall guess DLNA and the apikey expires and you would need to go to App Settings-API Keys and create a custom key.

But at the same time the sessionids I don't think are reusable along with deviceids.

But Luke will probably have to comment move but believe physical path is required.

Currently you can't use urls in a playlist. They have to be pointing to media files that already exist in your Emby libraries, and they have to be using the same paths that you setup the library with in Emby library setup.
