Triplefun 1
I have purchased this app and find the interface superior to mbt3. But given it is a windows 8.1 app then I don't think you can add an external media player eg. MPC-HC. And presumably I don't need both mbt3 and win 8.1 app installed. However, with the release of windows 10 and the blurring of apps with the desktop then presumably features of mbt3 and app will be 'combined'. In that case will there still be a need for 2 display options?
7illusions 1249
The primary audience for the store app was tablets and touch enabled devices. The app is not intended for the Hi-Def audiences, but more for the general consumer, while MBT is more for people that wants the full Cinema experience. I have no doubt that they will coexist for a long time..
