HEVC movies freezing in web browser

Hi guys

I have installed and set up emby for the first time this week. I run emby server on Linux and don't have any problems using android and the LG apps but cannot play x265 movies through chrome and edge web browsers when at home. The films will play for around 15 seconds and then just stop. This is with auto enabled and are being transcoded. If I lower the resolution/bitrate they will play normally. I have tried with and without hardware acceleration.

Weirdly they will play through Firefox okay on desktop. They also play okay when at work on my pc I'm guessing because I don't max the quality as my upload is only 20Mb.

If I can help at all by sending any info and logs please let me know.

This suggests the browser does not support the codec.  But will see if anything in transcoding stands out.

App: Emby Web 4.7.11.2
Chrome Windows

&VideoCodec=h264
&TranscodeReasons=VideoCodecNotSupported

Thanks HappyToPlay

I wonder why it would play at all in the first place? I tried jellyfin before settling on emby and that just comes back with an error and wont even attempt to play. If I turn off hardware acceleration in emby it seems to play although a bit jumpy as it maxes out my i3 8th gen cpu.
