Webapp responds to input from connected game controller

I have run into a very obscure issue.  I have a computer with a connected Logitech Steering Wheel and pedals. When accessing the webapp, it is capturing the input from the clutch pedal and interpreting it as a command to scroll.  So once I click on anything, for example a letter to scroll to in my library, it will scroll all the way to the bottom of the page.  if the clutch pedal is depressed all the way down it will scroll to the top of the page.  The only way to use the webapp is to hold the pedal half way down during any interaction.  Is there any setting that I can set to make the webapp stop listening to controller inputs?  This is the only time I have ever encountered this type of behavior using any websites or apps in a browser.

It looks like the issue is in the gamepadtokey.js module that gets loaded.  removing that module eliminates this problem.  After searching this forum i see that it is not as obscure of a problem as I thought.  If a setting could be added to prevent the loading of that module it would solve the problem for everyone that is encountering it.

@LukeJust found this thread and can confirm. Thought I was going crazy for a second. 

I have CH Controls Rudder Pedals plugged in 24/7 which is triggering this.

What is the gamepadtokey.js used for and can this safely be renamed to gamepadtokey.js.dis to disable?

Renaming and restarting the server didn't work for me.
