Was wondering if Emby has the ability where I can load a plugin via Synology NAS DS720+ for EQ, Extra Bass, etc. This would then integrate with other devices. Android Auto Play, Android Device, Tablet, Windows, etc. From what I understand the EQ and sound effects would be local to that device? Mookdog 90 Posted January 18, 2023 Share Posted January 18, 2023 I know for a fact that there is a way to add a volume boost to exoplayer bc an app that I use (It will remain nameless) uses the volume boost function with exoplayer. If only there was a way to incorporate it into emby bc I know volume is quite low on 2 of my devices Shield TV Pro and Formuler GTV. Volume boost (across the spectrum) and EQ (volume adjustments specific to frequencies) are two different things. Also, such manipulation would only be possible if the audio is being decoded locally by the app. For instance, something like DD that is being bitstreamed out would not be modifiable.
