Teddyknuddel 73
Klar - einfach als "Poster.jpg" abspeichern 1

Quote Series & Season Images Images are supported in both series and season folders. Below is a table of the supported image file names. Supported image extensions are jpg, jpeg, png and tbn. Several image types support multiple file names. They are listed in the order that they're checked for. Image Type Supported file names Primary folder.ext poster.ext cover.ext default.ext show.ext (series folder only) Art clearart.ext Backdrop backdrop.ext, backdropX.ext fanart.ext, fanart-X.ext background.ext, background-X.ext art.ext, art-X.ext extrafanart (subfolder)/fanartX.ext Banner banner.ext Disc disc.ext cdart.ext Logo logo.ext Thumb thumb.ext landscape.ext For backdrops, X represents a number, and you can have any amount of numbered backdrops. For example: \TV \Glee (2009) backdrop.ext backdrop1.ext backdrop2.ext backdrop3.ext Season images without season folder If season folders are not used, season images can still be supplied directly in the series folder, using a naming convention to indicate the season. Image Type Supported file names Primary seasonXX-poster.ext season-specials-poster.ext Backdrop seasonXX-fanart.ext season-specials-fanart.ext Banner seasonXX-banner.ext season-specials-banner.ext Thumb seasonXX-landscape.ext season-specials-landscape.ext For example: \TV \Glee (2009) season01-poster.jpg season-specials-poster.jpg season01-fanart.jpg season-specials-fanart.jpg season01-banner.jpg season-specials-banner.jpg season01-landscape.jpg season-specials-landscape.jpg Episode Images The following naming conventions are supported for episode images: {name}-thumb.ext (in same folder) {name}.ext (in metadata sub-folder) Supported image extensions are jpg, jpeg, png and tbn. Happy2Play 8319
Not sure why your example does/did not work as "show.ext (series folder only)" is supported and works in my tests. No providers enabled.

Out of curiosity, which part of it you find not playing nice with Emby? My complete collection is driven by TMM, it has a bit steep learning curve until you set it up just right, but afterwards works like a charm - and has been doing so for years.
GrimReaper 3314
Thanks. That's likely due to having <lockdata> tag set to true in TMM-made Emby-type NFO, as that was written by default at some point in the past. Anyway, glad Emby is working for you as it generally is very good at what it does, I just miss the granulation and control that I get with TMM (contrary to you, I scrape nothing with Emby's internal scrapers).
Teddyknuddel 73
GrimReaper 3314
Sure, to each their own. As said, glad Emby is working for you and keeping you (mostly ) as a happy user, and some quirks can always be corrected manually - it's not like I don't have to manually intervene with TMM either. The only difference is I choose what, to what extent and from where I want it to occur, whereas Emby is trying to decide that for me, and I'm somewhat anal regarding my metadata. Anyways, keep enjoying using Emby, hope it'll keep you satisfied for a long time.
Teddyknuddel 73
GrimReaper 3314
AFAIK that should be included in next 4.8+ beta (which should be coming somewhat soon-ish) and in stable once it goes 4.8, unknown timeframe. In the meantime, you might wanna check community-made MediaInfo plugin:
Teddyknuddel 73
GrimReaper 3314
Majority of plugins are platform-independent, honestly wouldn't know about MediaInfo and Synology, @Cheesegeezer or @rbjtech might give you some more insight there.
Teddyknuddel 73
Teddyknuddel 73
@GrimReaper Tatsächlich - hier ist auch was für die Synology angegeben Gleich mal testen Edited February 17, 2023 by Teddyknuddel

rbjtech 4291
I believe only DV info will be added. FFMPEG still does not list all the Audio sub-codecs (Atmos, DTS-HD X and many others ) so the plugin is still needed if you want to know all this detailed AV information. GrimReaper 3314
I reckon it would be better to post issues in the plugin thread, as it is more likely you'll get assistance there either from plugin Devs or other community members that might've faced the same issue, and as we're getting off-topic here. If you want, I can split your query.
