Habe eine Frage.

Habe meine Serien so sortiert

Manchmal findet er online keine Cover.

Ich verwende Primär, Art und Disk

Gibt es die Möglichkeit das Cover so abzuspeichern das es gleich mein abgespeichertes Cover nimmt.

Not sure why your example does/did not work as "show.ext (series folder only)" is supported and works in my tests.  No providers enabled.

Ja Danke. Teddy Knuddel hat mir sehr geholfen. hab mir gleich tinyMediaManager für ein Jahr genommen und das Problem gelöst.

Von dem Tool rate ich ab - hab ich früher auch genommen, verträgt sich nicht so recht mit Emby.

Out of curiosity, which part of it you find not playing nice with Emby? My complete collection is driven by TMM, it has a bit steep learning curve until you set it up just right, but afterwards works like a charm - and has been doing so for years.

Thanks. That's likely due to having <lockdata> tag set to true in TMM-made Emby-type NFO, as that was written by default at some point in the past. Anyway, glad Emby is working for you as it generally is very good at what it does, I just miss the granulation and control that I get with TMM (contrary to you, I scrape nothing with Emby's internal scrapers).

@GrimReaperPerfekt ist Emby in der Sache auch nicht unbedingt - bei vielen Filmen werden nur die englischen Inhaltsbeschreibungen angezeigt, obwohl sie auch in deutsch verfügbar sind. Aber das sind so banale Kleinigkeiten, die ich von Hand mache. Genauso die Genres, was manchmal vorgegeben werden, weil z.B. irgendwo bei Ice Age mal ein Raumschiff auftaucht, hat das noch lange nix mit Science Fiction zu tun. Anscheinend kann das jeder Schwachkopf als normales Mitglied bei IMDB oder TMDB editieren. Da hab ich mir halt mal ein paar Tage Zeit genommen, mir das nach meinen Vorstellungen zu sortieren, meine eigenen TAGS und Genres generiert. 

Und irgendwann ist man halt mal so weit, dass man alles auf einen gewissen Level hat, und dann sind es bei neuen Filmen nur wenige Handgriffe, die man erledigen muss. Ich hoffe, mir bleibt auf der Synology mein Emby lange Zeit erhalten, so dass ich da nicht so schnell wieder Hand anlegen muss. Und aus diesem Grund habe ich auch das Beta-Programm von Emby-Server verlassen - die aktuelle Beta 4.8.21 ist ein Desaster. Hab da keine Lust, alles neu aufsetzen zu müssen.

Wie gesagt, Emby ist nicht perfekt - aber in Hinsicht auf Tiny und andere Drittanbieter Software - zu viele Köche verderben den Brei.

Sure, to each their own. As said, glad Emby is working for you and keeping you (mostly ) as a happy user, and some quirks can always be corrected manually - it's not like I don't have to manually intervene with TMM either. The only difference is I choose what, to what extent and from where I want it to occur, whereas Emby is trying to decide that for me, and I'm somewhat anal regarding my metadata. Anyways, keep enjoying using Emby, hope it'll keep you satisfied for a long time.

Ich gebe es zu, ich kann schon mal ein rechter Stinkstiefel sein - kommt halt drauf an, wie man mich abspeisen will. Jetzt im Moment bin ich soweit zufrieden. Wäre noch schön, wenn Emby die HDR Info ausgeben könnte, also Dolby Vision speziell, aber laut Luke soll das in der nächsten Serverversion sein, hoffe nur, dass es dann nicht die Beta ist.

AFAIK that should be included in next 4.8+ beta (which should be coming somewhat soon-ish) and in stable once it goes 4.8, unknown timeframe.

MediaInfo Plugin geht aber nur auf Windowsrechner, oder? Hab mal geschaut, ob es da auch auf der Synology geht, aber da muss man mkvtoolnix irgendwie erstmal im Docker installieren. Und dann ist es noch nicht gewährleistet, ob es auf der Synology läuft.

Majority of plugins are platform-independent, honestly wouldn't know about MediaInfo and Synology, @Cheesegeezer or @rbjtech  might give you some more insight there.

MediaInfo ist für Synology verfügbar. MKVToolnix hab ich gerade gesehen, auch. Aber da ist dann wieder so eine Sache mit den Pfaden auf der Synology.

I believe only DV info will be added.

FFMPEG still does not list all the Audio sub-codecs (Atmos, DTS-HD X and many others ) so the plugin is still needed if you want to know all this detailed AV information.

Thanks, that's what @Teddyknuddel specifically asked for and what I was referring to.

Hence the plugin was recommended ąs it'd provide that - and more - info and might suit the needs better.
