CentWind 4
I recently bought a Chromecast Google TV it must use HTTPS to show poster in Home movie recommendation. However, after using HTTPS, some high bit rate videos are stuck, which will not happen in HTTP.

pwhodges 1534
This six year old comparison shows that most of the extra overhead of https is cancelled by the change from http 1.1 to http/2. Also that the extra overhead is largest for large numbers of small messages. Google did not need to upgrade its mail servers when it changed Gmail to https. I'm sure that any performance issues will be down to other causes - so a detailed report with log files so that the reasons can be looked at is the way to go.
