Sorting the Media/Movies in each Collection

Hi, 

Is there a way to sort the media in each collection? I see that the Collections screen (i.e. the one displaying the difference collections) can be sorted, but once one clicks on a collection there is no way to sort what's in there. I would be happy with a Global alphabetical sorting but cannot find such an option.

Hi, you can set the collection order by editing the metadata for it. The upcoming 4.8 release will add more collection sorting controls.

Thanks, is there a way to do this globally from the settings, or do I need to do it manually in the file(s)?

i.e. as a reference, one can add custom CSS code, of course this works only on the browser "clients"... is there a same thing I can do with the metadata?

Either way, would you please provide an example on how I can do this?

There is no way to do it once for all collections, sorry.

Got it; could you point me on how I could do this, I have 3 collections, I guess I would need to do it 3 times, which I'm ok with.
