Atmos problem with Chromecast 4k

Hi there,

As the title suggests,I'm having problems getting atmos from my chromecast while using Emby.If I play a movie on my Shield,it shows atmos on my receiver,but if I play the same movie on the chromecast it only shows up as surround.I can get atmos using Prime or Plex,so that suggests to me that I'm missing something in Emby.Can someone please help me out ?

Nevermind.Just read that the chromecast doesn't support TrueHD.

Correct.  "Atmos" is a layer on top of the audio format so the device needs to support the underlying format.  Atmos on DD+ should work on that device (that's what all the streaming services use).
