Possible to tell Emby which version to prefer from 2 locations?

Hi.

Me and a friend both have extensive libraries with movies and tv-shows..  We decided to link our two collections by a VPN link, and it is working fine.
We do have alot of the same movies and tv shows, though, and my questions is in relation to how Emby choose which version of a given tv episode it plays by default.

In Movies you get a choice of which version to play with a drop-down menu, but Tv-shows are just merged without any indication that the second set exist.

I recently added a tv-show to my collection that was also present i my friends collection.  Emby still uses his version of the show to play whenever anyone plays it.
Now, the VPN connection is alot slower than to directly stream from my local library, so how can I make Emby default to my local files instead of choosing the ones from the vpn?

What is the criteria Emby uses when choosing which version of the episode to play?
