Genre Cleaner default action

Would it be possible to have a default action settable for genres that are seen for the first time?

 

Some new items might have a genre that I would like to be mapped to an existing one, but if it is ignored and removed, there would be no way for me to do so. Possibly a separate list of genres to be ignored could be maintained, and a default option could be set whether new generes will be added to the accept list, or ignore list.

There isn't any way to know if something is a "new" genre or not.  This would require me to have a separate ignore list which would complicate the setup and I want it to be as simple and straightforward as possible.  So, I am going to lean towards simple and away from super-powerful.

 

You can add any genres you wish to the list of allowed.  They don't have to already exist anywhere in your media.  So, you can add any that you might want to allow at initial set up time.
