Synology DS1817+
Emby was running on it, but I moved the NAS to another IP and renamed it. (Reorganizing my setups)
Started Emby and nothing works - Not even manage server loads..
Everything is blank.. see attached...

Uninstalled Emby..
Reinstalled latest version - DISM 7  v7.4.10 . ( Here  )
It loads up like it was never uninstalled, just like the attachment.
How do I get emby to think it's a new install and reinitialize clean?

emby.png

on a side note.. installed emby on my QNAP Nas, and was unable to access the libraries on the synology NAS...(no place to put authentication while mapping library folders)

The only recourse I can think of is reinitialize the nas... hence restore everything... - absolutely the last resort!

@LukeDoes Synology not have uninstall everything?  Looks like possibly a cache issue but probably need server log and possibly console log depending on client used.

The image above does not make since either as the URL is for Dashboard but in on Home.

@cayarsdo know the steps to remove program data on Synology?

  • Solution

SSH into box as normal user then go super using "sudo -i"

What you have to do is remove the directory and contents below: /volume1/@appdata/EmbyServer

That assumes it was installed on volume1.
