willwhitworth 0
This is random, but I was in the process of installing Emby Theater for Windows when my power went out. The installation didn't complete, but now when I try to run the installer again, it fails with the message: There's a lot of information when I click the Details button, but this is the gist: Quote ERROR DETAILS Following errors were detected during this operation. * [12/9/2022 1:15:12 PM] System.Deployment.Application.DeploymentException (Subscription) - Unable to install this application because an application with the same identity is already installed. To install this application, either modify the manifest version for this application or uninstall the preexisting application. The application isn't showing up in the Add or remove programs list and I don't know what directory it installed it in. Does anyone know how I can manually uninstall it so that I can run the installer successfully?
Luke 37186
Hi, can you try the rundll32 command prompt procedure mentioned here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/2418542/clear-the-net-downloaded-application-cache-without-mage Then see if you're able to install after that. Thanks.
willwhitworth 0
I tried that, but it didn't work. I'm still getting the same message, unfortunately.

OK, you can always grab a portable build here: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/emby-theater-windows/releases
