Bazzu85 21 Posted December 8, 2022 Share Posted December 8, 2022 Hi, I just checked on trakt side the history and the last entry is from 26 of november (yesterday I watched a film and is not played on trakt) The night scheduled task fails: here's the log of a manual try scheduled task failed.txt Tryied again to set the movie as watched. heres's the log mark as played fails.txt I think something is broken. To avoid this happening again, make sure not to over-schedule the trakt scheduled tasks in Emby. Read their description texts because you probably don't need to run them on a regular basis. Yep. the first one (sync to Trakt) is to send an updated playstate situation every day. So if a mark as watched or something else fail to update trakt during normal operations, there's the 4AM task. the second one (sync from trakt) is to grab the playstate updated outside emby. An example is when I go the theater to watch a movie is say to trakt that I'm watching it. When finished trakt automatically mark as watched. Question to dig in your answer: If I finish to watch an episode or a movie and the trakt api are down. there's an auto-retry workaround without using the scheduled task? if yes, I can definetelly disable the task. I use it mainly in emby. Before the block i had the "sync to" trakt scheduled task running on daily base. You suggest to run it on weekly base and now it's like this. but I want to understand how the 200k play history mentioned in the mail is calculated. how I have reached this number with the emby sync to? I can't really ready the instructions when I click the plugin and I see nowhere for me to set it up when I click on my profile. The plugin text with instructions doesn't have it's own pop up. I could kinda read that it was there but like I was asking I couldn't find it anywhere so I was asking where to look exactly but I just looked again with fresh eyes and finally found it.
