video with hdmv pgs sub cause cpu very high

My env is emby 4.7.6 with docker.

I get some video, it's sub is internal with hdmv pgs sub.

if the emby play default use this sub, it will cause cpu very high and the video so lag.

but if i change the sub with *.srt or *.ass, it work find and cpu low.

it's the emby not support hdmv pgs sub?

Hi, are you playing in the browser? Web browsers do not support pgs subtitles, so this will require transcoding on your server and that might mean very high resource consumption.
