Would it be possible to add a link somewhere, anywhere, presumably on the Edit Image page, to (hopefully) any image Emby uses so you can find the actual file of the image easily ?

Useful (?) if you want to replace an image you don't like, but you want to keep the original instead of it being deleted / overridden, just in case, especially for images Emby provided automagically.

Or you found a nice one and want to copy and use on another item.

Hi, it's not a bad idea, it's just that it would only be possible on the server machine. The web browser can't launch file explorer by itself.

Wouldn't necessarily need to open path, just need to know path.  But really only applies to \metadata images as everyone should know where their media is.

Maybe some kind of link added in this menu (something to copy and paste into Explorer or equivalent, or Show Location, or...) -

Correct, but it's possible with a browser extension. I've done something similar for the Transcoding Test Plugin.
(explained at the bottom of the second post)

I think this feature request can be closed...

The new Data Explorer Plugin was made for a different purpose, but it accidentally allows to do exactly what is being requested here.

All images are listed with local links and can be opened directly from the browser.

Clicking the yellow folder symbol opens the file location in Windows explorer.

(a browser extension is required to install, but it can be disabled after setup)
