fpezzino 3
Hello, I write here to request to you the implementation needed to let emby for FireStick TV 4k displays the Subtitle title and the Audio title inside an mkv movie, as already done in the web interface of Emby server for QNAP NAS, when accessed from any web browser. I mean, something like that showed below: The underlined words in red and yellow are referred, respectly, to the Subtitle track name and to the Audio track name, as written inside an mkv container file. I think that it is not so difficult to implement on Emby App for FireStick TV 4k. I hope I have been clear about the description of the features that Emby is still lacking and that the competitor, Plex, has been implemented years agò. I hope you can implement it as soon as possible, even if initially in the beta version 4.8.0.x of Emby App for FireTV. Thanks in advance. ebr 14947
Hi. Can you try sideloading our standard android app on the same device and see how that compares? https://emby.media/emby-for-android.html Thanks.

Hi, I tried that Android App on my Smartphone (cause I was not be able to install it on my Fire StickTV 4k device) and Subtitle title as the Audio title (called "incorporated title" from Emby App) was displayed the same way done by Emby Server on QNAP accessed via WEB. The screen is attached below. Thank you and I'm waiting to see this feature implemented in the Emby client App for my Fire StickTV 4k. Greetings, Filippo I may have misunderstood something here, but i am pretty sure i already have Subtitle displayed within the Emby app on my FireTV (Cube and Stick 4K). I make all my subs SRT and wrap into MKV file using MKVmergeGui. within Emby, I can see and select any SRT subs i inserted into the MKV file. Why don't you just convert the PGS subs to SRT? Its easy and theres free tools to do this. Once converted to SRT, you can use MKVMergeGUI to insert your SRT sub into the MKV file with your audio and video tracks. The problem I tried to explane is related to the Audio and Subtitle Title track not showed in Emby App for FireTV stick 4k (See better my first screen of a Movie). I prefer to use the PGS subtitle, even if the converted SRT is better readible on TV; the negative thing to convert PGS to SRT is the errors introduced during the OCR conversion; infact, when I convert from PGS to SRT, I always have to manually correct end read every string inside the SRT converted file. It's really boring and time consuming. Greetings, Filippo
