Naudiz 0
Hi, I'm using the emby app for synology and recently I've noticed issues with downloading images. This is what it looks like when I got to select an image: https://i.imgur.com/g3seQOR.png and if I click the icon bottom right to open the image in a new tab I get this: https://i.imgur.com/cW6Ma0L.png Obviously it's some sort of connection issue but it's only just started happening so I'm confused as to what's causing it. I currently don't have a VPN or anything on the NAS. I've attached my severlog in case that helps. embyserver.txt
Happy2Play 8296
@NaudizI am sorry but why are you on such an old version? Can you update to 4.7.8.0? Application version: 4.4.3.0 Can only guess the version is no longer compatible with provider sites. But being Synology, you would have to manually update if possible. Per DSM 6 or DSM 7 download pages. Edited October 26, 2022 by Happy2Play Tagged OP
Luke 37100
The certificate store in the 4.4.3 server is out of date, and that's why it can no longer download from websites such as MovieDb (and others). So yes you'll need to update to the latest version of Emby Server.
Naudiz 0
I always assumed the emby app from the package centre was the latest. Good to know, I'll update it manually then.
Luke 37100
The process for Synology changed with the 4.5 release, which was announced on the blog at the time. We don't use the custom repository anymore. You can either download 4.7.8 from our website: https://emby.media/download Or install from the official Synology package center, which is currently at 4.6.7.
