ebr 14935
Is this a new version of VLC? How is it configured in the external players tab? Can I please see the MBC log from the session?
mithhunter55 0
Yes, VLC 2.1 Rincewind and it is current at Oct. 16th. Is this a new version of VLC? How is it configured in the external players tab? Can I please see the MBC log from the session? Server.log MBClassic.log Edit:Just really sucks to not have information about playback postion going back to the server. It worked great with previous versions of VLC. I could roll back my VLC but this does seem to be something to do with the new version. So I can wait and test any changes you might be able to make. ebr 14935
I guess they changed something. To eliminate the crash, set it up as a generic player. I'm not sure when I'll have time to try and figure out what changed and if we can support it.
Caribdis10 0
Same problem here. The solution, for me, has been to install VLC 2.0.0. It works again properly.
Dragonfly47 0
I'm still getting this behavior with VLC 2.1. Will there be a fix for this, or should we all just downgrade to a VLC 2.0 version?
ebr 14935
Set it up as a generic player or use the version we work with.
