Access to Seasons Missing

Hi,

I replaced a hard drive in my server, there was some data loss but really not much. I re-scanned the TV Shows and now many are missing either all or some of the season folders. Even if Emby shows there are X amount of unwatched episodes I cannot see them. And the files do exist and any lost data was replaced. When playing the episodes in sequence we can access the episodes by the Continue Watching section even if we cannot see the files in the show.

Examples:

Sopranos showing 13 unwatched in Season 4 - no other seasons visible.

Sopranos showing Emby aware of 49 episodes in total unwatched.

There is plenty of shows with this issue, the majority of the collection in fact.

Yes a full rescan has completed. It took nearly a week. Anything I can try?

Ok. Did you check parental controls for your emby user to make sure there are no restrictions being applied that might be causing this?

Its happening for all users. Heres my (admin) account's parental controls:

The only thing that changed was the drive went missing, taking some of the media with it (which is now restored).

Is there some where/file I can remove or update that will force a full refresh? It will take ages to rescan but I would rather it work. Thanks

Nope.

Emby PC is Windows 10 virtual machine.

Files are located on SMB share on Server 2019 virtual machine.

OK. What you could try is removing the TV library entirely, then run a scan of all libraries to clean out the database, and then add it back. Please let us know if that helps. Thanks.

You could exclude certain things from the scan to speed things up, like the intro detection feature for example.

Thanks Luke, I disabled the intro detection, image downloading and markers and it finished scanning overnight. It appears all season folders have been restored. Thanks for the help.
