Hello I am trying to use the web app on a special all-in-one projector called the pop-in aladin 2.
It has firefox (for fire tv 2.1) and the playback works, but scrolling doesnt when using the web app locally. I have also tried tv.emby.media and have the same issue.
I was wondering if there is a way for me to build emby locally and add a visible scrollbar so I could navigate by clicking on it that way. I think that would solve the problem.

Thanks

Add a scrollbar where?

Does this happen in the web client not on projector or a different browser?

Sorry, this is through the firefox browser on the projector.
I just want a simple vertical scrollbar because moving the pointer to the bottom/top edge of the screen doesn't work.

I can only guess as you must be in TV Display mode as Desktop/Tablet have scrollbar.  Settings-Display, Display mode is probably Auto and selecting TV.

Mouse wheel should work if you have one

Assuming TV mode maybe some custom css like this.

div.hiddenScrollY, html.layout-tv .scrollY {
  scrollbar-width: auto;
}

Hmm, I found the setting I think I need. settings -> display-> display mode. I think maybe TV mode is needed.
it seems like it is is actually autoselecting desktop.
The problem is when I click the dropdown menu the cursor is stuck behind the menu and clicking again just closes it rather than selecting an item.
I tried with a bluetooth keyboard and I still cannot select the item.

Theres no way to force a display mode from the server is there?

EDIT: Ok so the solution was to type "T" on my bluetooth keyboard and it selected the option.

EDIT2: And it looks like the different display modes do not fix the issue.

Luckily in TV mode the tab button and shift+tab on my keyboard seems to select through the movies/tv shows. So I guess that I have found a work-around.
