Half hour mid playback sound distorting to complete motorboating.

Just recently install the Emby server app on my QNAP NAS and everything seems to be configured and operating perfectly: except when I played back a one hour recording of a PBS Nova program which has perfect video throughout its duration, but the audio starts to distort and turns into a complete totally unintelligible load motorboating sound about mid way through the playback. I accessed the .ts file and the transcoded conversion with different media file players like VLC, etc. and the audio anomaly results to be imbedded in the recording. In addition, although the video looks fine, the video recording resulted with some "burn-in" unintelligible characters as if they were some type of subtitles, which I turned off in the different playback attempts, but to no avail, it seem the character were "burn-in" during the recording. Despite these issues I my very enthusiastic about Emby and have great expectations for it to be the ideal and most comprehensive product as a Live TV server app. I have tried the absurd world of the Plex app and very time I would hit the road block where nothing could be scheduled manually when Plex failed to do it. I was lucky and fortunate to find and successfully install and use THheadend for the past two years. But I am now ready, need and require Emby. I am attaching a small segment of the recording were the audio is breaking up, which eventually will turn into a very loud "motorboating" and of some png pictures frame captures of rogue character artifacts that appear embedded in the video.

QNAP NAS TS-253Be Operating Sys "QTS" ver. 5.0.1.2145, Emby (QNAP) ver. 4.8.0.9, Logs approx. time the program  aired and was recorded

PD: The first attempt to install Emby on the QNAP failed to install ver. 4.5.4.0, but was successful with ver. 4.8.0.9 which I understand in a beta ver., I currently have successfully installed stable ver. 4.7.6.0.

Hi. If that's the case, then something must have gone wrong during recording.  Can you record from that same channel and see if it repeats?

Ok, I will see if the recordings that I have scheduled in realm of one hour or longer, contain this motorboating audio anomaly. But if they do, how can I diagnose and correct the anomaly? . Can someone  guide me to info on how the forum works and the meaning of the different symbols. In addition, is there anything published like a user manual for Emby? I would like have more in depth info on configuring the settings for recording, transcoding, conversions, etc., and of  their effects in Emby, even though I am well  versed and familiar with these settings and configurations in other video applications. Also, how do I configure the schedule of a series consisting of a local news channel program that airs three times daily, to just record one of the time slots on a daily basis. I very committed to this endeavor of getting Emby to be my sole live TV server and appreciate any and all the help I can get. Thank you
