bill_w 1
I'm sure this question has been asked before, but since there is more than one kind of rating, I couldn't find an answer. Is there no way to set your own ratings in Emby? I just moved from Plex where I used that feature heavily. If it doesn't exist, is there any reason not to just repurpose the IMDB or RT ratings for my own use (assuming that I lock the metadata so it doesn't get wiped out)? Luke 37066
Hi, marking content as favorite is our method of rating. But yes, you could repurpose CriticRating if you wanted, where you are the critic.
bill_w 1
Thanks! A binary option like favorites doesn't do much for me since I already like everything in my collection. Five stars is plenty, three I could live with, two just doesn't have enough resolution. Plus, I already spent years rating stuff in Plex and it will be easier just to pull it from the database and move it over.
