I usually start recording half hour to an hour before I start watching the game. Using both apps, Emby for Android, and the ATV version, I am unable to fast forward. I have to use the HDHomeRun Android application while doing that. You maybe correct about the video type. Since my new Android box supports the Dolby AC4 audio codec, I can now record the HEVC channels broadcast using the ATSC 3 standard. Hopefully that will solve that issue.
