New App closes after connection

At first I want to thank the team for your great work on this app.

 

Unfortunately, since the new version I can no longer browse my media with my account (which has also access to the dashboard as this is the admin user).

After connection and successfully logging in the app is trying to list my latest "new" media. After some moments the app just closes without a message. Just going back to my app drawer from where I started the app.

 

If I use a different user, it seems to work fine. So it must be something with my user.

 

What I tried:

Cleared app cache and data so that I can switch the user.

 

Don't know where to find a log. :-/

Client logs are in SDcard\Mb3AndroidData\Logs. You might need a file manager to browse the contents of your storage. I use ES File Manager. I'd delete any existing logs first to make sure you have the right one.

I found the problem. The App crashes as soon as the User has a profile picture set on MBS.

 

My system: Galaxy s4+ LTE-A (GT I9506, Android 4.3)

There's more to it than that. Most users, myself included have a profile picture. I'd still like to see a log so I can track the error

and that user can log in if there is no profile image assigned in the web dashboard?

I can confirm this for 3 of my users. All users were not able to connect, after deleting the picture it works.

Just an update: I now uploaded a new picture to these accounts and now it is working also with profile picture enables. Strange. Maybe a bug due to recent server updates which not updates the profile picture to a new format!?

I'm not sure, it's definitely a strange one that I've not seen before. It may have had something to do with the fact that the images are made round for the navigation drawer. What image format were the old images?

The problem seems to be limited to PNG ones.

If I use the attached picture on a users profile, the app crashes again.

This one is still an issue even with Version 2.0.81.

I've made a change that may fix it. It'll be in 2.0.83 which I'll publish in the morning sometime.
