Libraries aren't updating

I'm on qnap FW 4.5.4.1892 and emby 4.7.6.0

Oddly, emby isn't updating libraries, neither TV no Movies.

Auto Organize for TVshows runs fine but then it doesn't show up on latest media nor does it show when I go into the TV category (sorted by date added). It also doesn't show when I go to the show directly either, even after manually scanning the root show and the season. 

As for movies, I scan libraries manually and yield nothing. Movies will show up in the meta data manager but not anywhere else. 

It used to basically recursively scan? I'd add a movie or TV show and it'd show up almost immediately but now the only way to get new media to show up is to force a full library scan (which takes ages). 

Am I missing something here or did a default change since the last update? TIA!
