musicmafia 35
Is there a way to change the display size of the poster thumbnail images on my movie library page? I wanted to make them smaller so more movies would display on each screen. I could have sworn I saw a setting for this somewhere. Thanks.

Should be possible via custom CSS, I'll move your topic to respective forum section.
Happy2Play 8282
Currently there are not options for this. But for the web client yes via css. You could show your support for this FR.
Happy2Play 8282
@musicmafia are you looking for custom css for the web client or more of a global option for all clients?
musicmafia 35
Unfortunately I'm not very tech savvy and don't know what css is. I watch most of my movies on my TV via the Emby app on Fire Stick. That's where I thought I saw an option for this, but I'm managing my library on my web browser and could find no way to set it so more movies would show up on screen per page. Thanks for all the help. (And I added a +1 to the thread above).

Then you shouldn't have posted that image, as it's a different client app. AndroidTV app (that you use on FireStick) indeed has that option, you can set Default image size for all libraries in app settings OR for each library individually, click three dots along right screen edge once inside any library view.
Solution Happy2Play 8282 Posted August 5, 2022 Solution Share Posted August 5, 2022 @musicmafia it would not apply to you client but here is the code for the web client.

Yes, I must have previously changed the sizes while using the TV and am now seeking a way to do it on my web browser, which doesn't sound like an option at this time. The image is a screen shot from my web browser (Chrome).

musicmafia 35
So it won't work on Chrome (or any) web browser?
GrimReaper 3294
Before that, how do you connect to your server in browser, via IP:port or app.emby.media? As that'll work only in former case (local web app) and not latter (hosted web app)?

When I post in the forums, that address says emby.media but doesnt say app. Sorry for my lack of knowledge in these things.

Just no the online connection via app.emby.media.

Just follow: 14 minutes ago, Happy2Play said: Dashboard-Setting, custom css box. Scroll to the bottom, 17 minutes ago, musicmafia said: just copy/paste what Happy posted click Save. Note: if you only want smaller posters, copy only this part of the code: /*Portrait card size*/ @media (min-width: 100em) {.portraitCard, .overflowPortraitCard { width: 9vw;} } Adjust width as desired.
musicmafia 35
I just copied the part of the code for the poster size, then I changed the width to 7vw and hit save. I refreshed library but nothing has changed yet. Does it take time to take effect?
