DJX 18
Hi all My clients are using OpenVPN to VPN to my synology NAS. I'm using the synology VPN server app. Once my clients are connected they can use my NAS IP address with the HTTP port in the Emby app. However if my NAS local IP clashes with a clients local IP, then they cant connect. For example my router assigned 192.168.1.127 to my NAS and at a clients home, my phone was assigned the same IP. I had to drop to 4g which then let me connect (VPN still connected) Apart from changing the IP assigned to my NAS, is there anything else I can do to get it to work even if there is a IP clash? Anyone been able to use a hostname instead in this setup?
Luke 37066
Hi, what about just giving the nas a static lan IP that is outside the range, or at the top of the range, thus making collision less likely.

I certainly have thought about this if there is no other option! Thanks for the response
