Eddie6411284 29
slevin7 54
Eddie6411284 29
Danke, aber da steht mir deutlich zu viel "Beta", "Alpha" "Do not use it..." usw. Gruß Eddie
Happy2Play 8296
Naming scheme is incorrect for automatic versioning. File name is not same as folder name. Each version must begin with the folder name, followed by " - ". But the plugin linked above will group no matter naming scheme or location as it groups by providerid. Eddie6411284 29
Happy2Play 8296
@Eddie6411284 There is no way to know this flat subfolder is suppose to mean anything as nested folder collections were abandoned long ago. If automatic naming rule is not used then you have the plugin or multi-select and manually group versions.
Ryo Saeba 5

Beispiel: Ich habe den Ordner "Dinner For One". Geburtstag oder Dinner for One Farbe"? @Happy2Play Gruß Eddie
slevin7 54

Eddie6411284 29
Moin moin, Quote Emby will strip all the same words from multi-versioning.

The folder is called: Star Wars IV The two files are called: Star Wars IV - A New Hope Theatrical Version.mp4 Star Wars IV - A New Hope.mkv If I understand your explanation correctly, there should only be a cinema version and not "A new hope cinema version". Or is this due to the different file extensions? I also find it interesting here that "A New Hope" is actually displayed and not "Star Wars" as it says in the metadata. With "Dinner for One", the name seems to be taken from the metadata and not from the file name. It is due to the naming scheme as Emby cannot strip "A New Hope" as it would leave a blank field in selector, so everything remains. But if you added a type to the Original it would strip info. Eddie6411284 29
In particular, I am concerned with the displayed names of the films. For example, I have the Dinner For One folder. In this folder there are two files - Dinner For One - Dinner For One.mp4 - Dinner For One - Dinner For One color.mp4 As already written, I find it annoying that the folder name must also be present in the file name. That might make sense for Emby, but in any explorer or other media program it looks impossible. I'm shown in Emby This name seems to come from the metadata, which is actually not bad. Eddie6411284 29
Warum? Gruß Eddie
