flippyfingw 0 Posted July 11, 2022 Share Posted July 11, 2022 Using Emby Theater 3.0.15, it will not use hardware accel for AV1 files on my pc. Specs: RTX 3080Ti, Windows 10, latest Nvidia drivers. However, if i replace the libmpv in C:\Users\<>\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Theater\system\electronapp\libmpv\x64\ with the downloaded libmpv from Sourceforge and rename it to mpv-1.dll hardware acceleration works perfectly. I have the AV1 codec extensions installed. The version code suggests that the original libmpv could be as old as from 2020. I'm not sure how many things straight up replacing the dll will break, but as of now this seems to work. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
