No captions on Live TV using LG TV or Roku

Hello all,

For some reason, Roku and LG TV are no longer playing Livestream Subtitles.

Initially, I thought it was the channel itself, but I tested it in my Apple TV and the same channel works fine.

Looks like the CC are being stripped on the stream copy:

Actually in these examples it looks like you don't have the closed captions track selected. Are you sure it's selected?

It is selected. I can record a video to show if it is needed. I basically select the option from CC button.

Alright. I think I found the issue.

I believe when you select "No Subtitles" but you enable during playback is what is not working.

If I set to default it works fine but always load the subtitles which is something I was not looking into.

My goal is to manually enable subtitle as needed.

Thanks but can you please send a log from the app as described in those instructions?

Are we not talking about Live TV here?

We are talking about Live TV only. If I enable the setting as below picture, the cc works fine.  The only thing that does not is the Subtitle appearance .

I enabled debug options, and I think I sent the logs.

Here are the details:

Action: Enable cc on Roku

Channel: Starz, Movie Spiderman: No Way Home

Time: 2: 02 PM ( 5:02 EST)

Anything else needed?

Thanks for the app log.  This may be fixed in the latest beta of the app.  Would you be willing to try that?
