embyem273839 0
Hi Emby I can usually fix the issues that I come across with Emby, but the only resources I'm finding for this issue end without a resolution. It looks like some people find updating their emby solves the issue. My emby is up to date, as are all OS packages (Ubuntu), and still struggling. Basically when I play some .mp4 files, they don't work. I get the "no compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact your system administrator for details." error. I'm not able to see any obvious pattern to which mp4 files do and don't work. It doesn't appear to be a permissions issue. The files play normally outwith emby (VLC). Logs etc. below. Any ideas welcomed! Thanks The relevant error from ffmpeg appears to be these: 14:24:31.768 [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 0x165b400] moov atom not found 14:24:31.768 /media/anon-media02mediavhd/emby/libraries/movies/Star.Trek.Into.Darkness.2013.1080p.BluRay.x264.YIFY.mp4: Invalid data found when processing input Debug logging shows: 2022-07-03 13:24:31.759 Operating System: Linux version 5.4.0-121-generic (buildd@lcy02-amd64-013) (gcc version 9.4.0 (Ubuntu 9.4.0-1ubuntu1~20.04.1)) #137-Ubuntu SMP Wed Jun 15 13:33:07 UTC 2 OS/Process: x64/x64 Emby Server version: 4.7.5.0 Operating system: Unix 5.4.0.121 Command Line: /opt/emby-server/system/EmbyServer.dll -programdata /var/lib/emby -ffdetect /opt/emby-server/bin/ffdetect -ffmpeg /opt/emby-server/bin/ffmpeg -ffprobe /opt/emby-server/bin/ffprobe -restartexitcode 3 -updatepackage emby-server-deb_{version}_amd64.deb App: Emby Web 4.7.5.0 Chrome Windows http://10.0.0.101:8096/emby/videos/85103/live.m3u8?DeviceId=9ce44647-28f2-491b-a71d-38d65b3cceb8&MediaSourceId=173ba6d01bdf04ff77aa2c7db88332f5&PlaySessionId=0e5daacaa1e8410e838e5cd715909de4&api_key=695f90aa8ac4407b8265e5eb40b34618&VideoCodec=h264&VideoBitrate=140000000&TranscodingMaxAudioChannels=2&SegmentContainer=m4s,ts&MinSegments=1&BreakOnNonKeyFrames=True&ManifestSubtitles=vtt&h264-profile=high,main,baseline,constrainedbaseline,high10&h264-level=52&TranscodeReasons=VideoCodecNotSupported,DirectPlayError&allowVideoStreamCopy=false&allowAudioStreamCopy=false {"Protocol":"File","Id":"173ba6d01bdf04ff77aa2c7db88332f5","Path":"/media/anon-media02mediavhd/emby/libraries/movies/Star.Trek.Into.Darkness.2013.1080p.BluRay.x264.YIFY.mp4","Type":"Default","Container":"mp4","Size":0,"Name":"Star.Trek.Into.Darkness.2013.1080p.BluRay.x264.YIFY","IsRemote":false,"SupportsTranscoding":true,"SupportsDirectStream":true,"SupportsDirectPlay":true,"IsInfiniteStream":false,"RequiresOpening":false,"RequiresClosing":false,"RequiresLooping":false,"SupportsProbing":false,"MediaStreams":[],"Formats":[],"RequiredHttpHeaders":{},"ReadAtNativeFramerate":false} >>>>>> User policy for Ewan Enable Playback Remuxing: True Enable Video Playback Transcoding: True Enable Audio Playback Transcoding: True /opt/emby-server/bin/ffmpeg -loglevel +timing -y -print_graphs_file "/var/lib/emby/logs/ffmpeg-transcode-87400858-d59b-401c-a834-19d9f5eee588_1graph.txt" -copyts -start_at_zero -f mp4 -i "/media/anon-media02mediavhd/emby/libraries/movies/Star.Trek.Into.Darkness.2013.1080p.BluRay.x264.YIFY.mp4" -vn -an -sn -max_delay 5000000 -avoid_negative_ts disabled -f segment -map_metadata -1 -map_chapters -1 -segment_format mpegts -segment_list "/var/lib/emby/transcoding-temp/77AC21/77AC21.m3u8" -segment_list_type m3u8 -segment_time 00:00:03.000 -segment_list_entry_prefix hls/77AC21/ -segment_start_number 0 -individual_header_trailer 0 -write_header_trailer 0 -segment_write_temp 1 "/var/lib/emby/transcoding-temp/77AC21/77AC21_%d.ts" 14:24:31.766 ffmpeg version 5.0.0-emby_2022_05_07 Copyright (c) 2000-2022 the FFmpeg developers and softworkz for Emby LLC 14:24:31.766 built with gcc 8.3.0 (crosstool-NG 1.24.0) 14:24:31.766 Execution Date: 2022-07-03 14:24:31 14:24:31.768 [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 0x165b400] moov atom not found 14:24:31.768 /media/anon-media02mediavhd/emby/libraries/movies/Star.Trek.Into.Darkness.2013.1080p.BluRay.x264.YIFY.mp4: Invalid data found when processing input 14:24:31.768 ======= ExtraData 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 ---
Luke 37251
Hi, corrupt files perhaps? Looks like the server wasn't even able to probe them for media info.
Happy2Play 8356
Yep Emby does not know how to transcode the file as there is no media info. Quote {"Protocol":"File","Id":"173ba6d01bdf04ff77aa2c7db88332f5","Path":"/media/anon-media02mediavhd/emby/libraries/movies/Star.Trek.Into.Darkness.2013.1080p.BluRay.x264.YIFY.mp4","Type":"Default","Container":"mp4","Size":0,"Name":"Star.Trek.Into.Darkness.2013.1080p.BluRay.x264.YIFY","IsRemote":false,"SupportsTranscoding":true,"SupportsDirectStream":true,"SupportsDirectPlay":true,"IsInfiniteStream":false,"RequiresOpening":false,"RequiresClosing":false,"RequiresLooping":false,"SupportsProbing":false,"MediaStreams":[],"Formats":[],"RequiredHttpHeaders":{},"ReadAtNativeFramerate":false} I am guessing the details page shows not Media Info either. Can you try Refresh Metadata on the item to see if it makes a difference. If not what does the log show when you Refreshed the item?
