Ok after a short crash course from scratch i seem to have set the correct value. Will this number persist after a restart/boot?

Im also located the output. somehow the script was missing a space between > 

Fixed this in the script file (the job was ok???)

After i re-ran the job i now get an empty output, which looks allright i think? No error at least

ok,. just to be clear, i added this to the task and removed the old:

sysctl fs.inotify.max_user_watches=1048576;
sysctl fs.inotify.max_user_instances=4096;

I just ran it manually. output files:

 

Then i rebooted. hope this fixes the issue, tysm. Will let u know what happened

This morning it did not add another 2 show episodes...

That doesn't appear to be Emby server log you've attached but *arr app log.

My bad, here is the correct file. i don't see any inotify msgs when i search for it

An episode got done at 3:23 am and at 5:25 am

Well sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. now it hasn't again...Can someone help me figure out why it is not working (again) i don't see any inotify msgs. at 6.40 am south park should have been added, but it is not in emby, but it is in my server. it's now past 11 am

When the scan is active, the realtime monitor is disabled. It's something we plan to improve on in future updates. Thanks.

Yes monitoring stops during scans but items can be put in a queue per the RTM timer if not caught during scan and added the scan finishes.
