DaveGibbon 1 Posted June 12, 2022 Share Posted June 12, 2022 Hi there , I've been using jriver with madvr for movies but it's so clunky. I went with emby theatre. I cannot find any settings for tone mapping HDR to sdr. When I do play the videos they definitely are way brighter then vlc (night and day ) but not nearly as good as madvr/mpc. I'm not sure if it's even tonemapping or vlc is just so crappy it looks better. Any help is appreciated. Thanks alot. Love the software layout. Everything is direct play.
