Emby server is 4.7.2.0 and OS is Debian 11.3

My brother is streaming live TV from me onto his Roku and the closed captioning is always on. When he tries to click on the app option to turn off cc, he gets this error:

Attaching the Emby server log and some transcode logs while we were testing things out.

I know there's a "How to report a problem" link somewhere (that probably tells me to include additional info :) )but I'm beyond tired at the moment :( ...... when I get up tomorrow morning, I'll find that link and fill in any missing data.

Thank you

Hi.  Have you configured a maximum stream limit of 1 for him on your server?

If you change that to 2 does this problem clear up?

Didn't seem to make a difference. We did some more troubleshooting today and we found out that he can trigger that error while making ANY change while inside the Roku app while streaming live TV.

Also, when he's watching TV on the Roku app, it will sometimes do this:

......print the channel name multiple times in the middle of the screen or some other bizarre text on the screen:

The good news is............ he doesn't see any of these problems when using his Fire stick so it looks like the issues are limited to the Roku app? (He's using the Roku Ultra fwiw.)

Those are closed captions and, with live TV, they are often generated on the fly by the station and can sometimes be rather...interesting.

You changed the streaming limit for the user to 2 and still got an "over the streaming limit" error?  What if you set it to "Unlimited"?

But when it's happening, the text stays static the entire time and never changes.

I tried changing it to 2 and it made no difference. I'll try unlimited when my brother has time.

BTW, I'm using the HD HomeRun Connect device in case that helps.
