What is contained in metadata folder mine is corrupt

Hello guys,

 

I just had a 6TB hard drive crash that contains my metadeta folder, the drive still somewhat works, but it wont completely copy this folder over without errors. I am wondering how important this folder is and how easy is it to rebuild? I know i have a lot of movies that scraped wrong and i fixed them all with the identify function. I am wondering if all this is linked to this one folder and I am confused as to what will happen if I lose this folder. I can someone salvage some of it, but I kind of don't want to if its corrupt. Should i just rebuild it all or try to salvage it?

Hi, the folder will not rebuild automatically, but if you alter the contents of it, then make sure to run the scan metadata folder scheduled task afterwards in order to make the server aware of it.
