You will only get that info automatically if the metadata providers provide it and can match it your structure & filenames.

I see TMDB has the collections listed (per volume), but they do not break it down into individual (short) films for example.

In summary, to get what I think you are after - you'll need to spend a lot of time constructing this manually into 'collections' - OR the alternative is to the TVDB and break it into TV Shows to get the metadata - it's a LOT of work ..

Folder View with screen captures is probably the only real solution for this I'm afraid.
