Scheduled date to watch movies or TV shows

I would like to be able to schedule a date to watch movies or TV shows.

 

One of my movies is set in 2024.

When 2024 arrives I might forget that I wanted to watch the movie at that date.

I would like to schedule a reminder for January, 01, 2024 to put that movie on the home screen if possible.

It would also be good to set Halloween movies be shown on Halloween or just before.
I usually edit the metadata to add a genre called Halloween for those movies and I do the same for Christmas movies but would like to schedule a reminder for some of them.

Any chance of getting movies to pop up on the home screen on a certain date?
Does anyone else have an interest in a feature like this?

I think this would be better handled by almost any existing calendar/scheduler app as they can already do this and also push it out to your friends/family as you see fit.

I’m not saying this is a bad idea but I think emby could better spend their resources on other improvements/enhancements than recreating what is already available in other (many free) apps
