adavis219 20 Posted June 3, 2022 Share Posted June 3, 2022 (edited) I’m having some issues with stuttering only when direct playing HEVC (h.265) files. I was trying to shrink my library a bit so I have been using Handbrake to change over to h.265 MKV but I’ve noticed it has hiccups when using Xbox’s. I encountered this issue on Plex as well with a Xbox One X so at the time I figured they didn’t support it, and now the issue happens with Emby as well. So far every other device I’ve tested seems to run them smoothly. (Android TCL TV, Shield TV, Tivo 4K, and Samsung TV App.) I’ve looked at stats for nerds on XBSS and no dropped frames occur but there is a noticeable stutter to those videos. Any ideas?
