Hi,

We upgraded from a NetGear NightHawk to a LinkSys Velop router. Emby was working correctly both internally and externally on the NightHawk, but I can't get it to work with the Velop. I can see my Emby library through a browser on the desktop, but I cannot see it through the app on my phone or TV.

I used the PortForward.com software to confirm that we are not dealing with a double router issue.

Canyouseeme returned:
Error: I could not see your service on 173.63.52.93 on port (8096)

UPnP was enabled by default. I have added port forwarding for both 8096 and 8920 to my desktop and I have added a Reserved IP address fro my desktop.

traceroute to 8.8.8.8 (8.8.8.8), 30 hops max, 38 byte packets

Not sure what else to try. Any ideas?

Thank you in advance! :)

http://localhost:8096 - works

http://192.168.1.43:8096 - does not work in the Emby app on my phone.
"Connection Failure. We're unable to connect to the selected server right now. Please ensure it is running an try again."

http://192.168.1.43:8096 - does not work in a browser on my phone.
"Your connection was interrupted. A network change was detected."

Windows Firewall has inbound rules set for 8096 and 8920.

Antivirus scan complete

No VPNs running.

What other information can I offer?

Figured it out. The new router automatically set itself up as a Public network. When I set it to Private, I was able to access it through my phone. Thanks anyway. Hope this helps others.
