acivi 0
So i moved from Plex to Emby and its most awesome and works better in everything except i have problem scanning media which worked perfectly in Plex. Almost no shows are properly detected unless i manually enter imdb codes then it gets properly recognized. I noticed alot of crashes in log after adding one show and pressing re-scan metadata https://pastebin.com/EMZVY2BB Edited April 12, 2022 by acivi

Because that is unsupported folder structuring, you're lacking Series folders (and for best results, Season subfolders as well): https://support.emby.media/support/solutions/articles/44001159110-tv-naming Edit: Emby i Plex nisu jednaki, potreban je folder za svaku seriju ispod glavnog foldera SERIJE. Unutar njega možete i ne morate imati subfolder za svaku sezonu, to je osobna preferenca. Edited April 12, 2022 by GrimReaper Append
acivi 0
So i need to manually sort out and rename about 500 files i got in my library? Any reason emby doesnt automatically scan files by names and sort this like other media players do without issues?
GrimReaper 3308
Your don't have to do it manually, number of tools that'll do that for you automatically, like FileBot, for example.
Luke 37096
We'd like to be able to handle your mish mash folder structure in future updates but we're not there yet.
