BillybobBilly
I did a quick search and didn't find anything about this so I apologize if I didn't see this already. It would be really great to pull album artwork info from mp3 tags. I have tens of thousands of mp3s with album artwork saved directly to the mp3 tag but Emby can't/doesn't pull this data. I can play the files in winamp and the album art pops up just fine but with Emby I have to search the album artwork and add it manually. It would be nice if the album artwork search function included artwork from within the mp3 tags of songs within each sorted album. Hopefully this idea makes sense. Solution Happy2Play Posted March 24 Solution Share Posted March 24 Don't really follow as Emby extracts folder/cover image for me. But will not extract all embedded images that I know of. Do you have image extraction enable on the library?
wordlover
This was a limitation I flagged a while ago. Emby does not extract cover images from mp3 files - it grabs cover.jpg, folder.jpg, etc. from the mp3 folder IF they exist. BillybobBilly
Just a follow up to this. I tested what Happy2Play suggested and it worked!
