jasonwilliams 29 Posted March 18, 2022 Share Posted March 18, 2022 Hello, I just setup PowerDVD as an external player and it launches, but doesn't play the file. I switched to VLC and see that it is passing a stream instead of the actual file. I can launch from the command line without passing credentials (the computer running ET has read permission on the share). I also checked the library and I have populated the Optional Shared Folder. All of my media is stored on a Synology NAS. Does anybody have this working that can point me in the right direction? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jasonwilliams 29 Posted March 18, 2022 Author Share Posted March 18, 2022 (edited) Something I just noticed: the drive is mapped on the ET computer and if I place that in the Shared Folder instead of the URL, it does work!
