Images have stopped downloading

Hello,

I installed the Emby software (zip file) on my laptop. Everything was good, image wise. I also installed the Emby app on my LG-TV.

I removed and reinstalled a second time but the Home display only shows a few images after several hours.

Is there a way to restart the image downloading process?

There is one subdirectory on a drive with a single movie. Emby presents that movie but not the subdirectory. Is that normal?

Thanks

.

Can you show some screenshots of your media folder structure, and how you set up your Movies library in Emby?

I use the standard "+Folder" option in "Library".
I try to set up all drives the same:

___Aeschylus___ (drive name)
$RECYCLE.BIN (system directory)
4K
1900-1920s
1930s-1940s
1950s-1960s
    1950S
    1960S
1970s-1980s
1990s
2000-2019
    2000-2009
    2010-2019
    2020-2029
Series, serials and artists
System Volume Information (system directory)

Since you didn't show how your library is setup in Emby and how your full folder structure looks like (incl. sub folders) I would suggest you follow this guide to ensure you have set up your library properly.

The dir list is a reflection of the directory structure. Indentation indicates the next level of subdirectories. The Series, serials and artists directory contains data that varies from drive to drive and is not relevant, ditto the system directories.
What do you mean by 'how your library is set up?'

I expect Emby to accommodate my directory structure within reason.

Thank you,

Good morning.

Hello,

Regarding your link, my dir structure is perfectly fine. I question your expertise. No more help please.

The issue is, I think, moot. I believe this will take some time, a few days,  perhaps a week. I've seen improvements since I installed the software.
