Upgrade question Synology.

Hi! Maybe this question has ben answered already. Sry  if yes.

I always download the latest update when emby tells om my dasboard. Directly form emby website and install manually (atm i running Version 4.6.7.0) .

But now Package Center on synology telling me that there is an update, see pic:

<b>Should i start update from synology package store from now</b> ??

It's actually the exact same release as you already have.  However, Synology needed to change the number after the dash (-) associated with Emby so DSM now thinks there is a later version.  You can update if you want to.  The next release things should be sorted out because both the spk and the Synology store will use the newer number.  We are already using the newer number in beta.

Just a little addition, the spk for stable was recompiled with the newer number now also.  You can use either to upgrade and get rid of the upgrade message if you wish.

my english is not the best, should i upgrade manually or from package center from now on? where will update come first?

It's really up to you, but the updates will always be available for manual download first.  Once a new version is compiled it's uploaded to GitHub and then also submitted to Synology for review and that can take some time.
