I have successfully installed https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Releases/releases/download/4.6.7.0/emby-server-qnap-mono_4.6.7.0_arm-x19.qpkg  on my NAS today.

But trying to open the app  in the Web UI is failng with a connection error.

So you get notthing on http:\\192.168.0.5:8096

Forget https and 8920 they require the set up of SSL certificates later.

Do you run a third party Antivirus product such as ESET, PANDA etc? Have you tried disabling if so?

Nothing but a windows defender.

I tried to turn everything off. (firewall, virus shield, etc) but nothing :(

This is the same with the beta version

Can you acess it via mobile phone/tablet on wifi?

I'm strugging now as to what could be the cause other than someting configured wrong on the NAS

Phone/tablet everything works. only Emby doesn't :(

Can't look in the installation folder?

Can't start a link from the outside?

It's like the link points to the wrong place

It's like the path is bad

(There were no errors during installation, The NAS is factory set)

There is a setting on QNAPS about running packages without a digital signture which applies to Emby. But I can't remember if it affects the install or the running as well. Its in App Centre under Settings.

If thats not there in settings as it could be just certain QNAP models I've run out of ideas, but I remember it stopping my already  installated CHANNELSDVR a couple of years ago when QNAP introduced tighter security

I tried it. With and without a check mark.

I uninstalled Emby and reinstalled it, but nothing.

Nas restarted, but nothing.

Firefox is unable to connect to the server at 192.168.0.5:8096. :( just can't find the startup.

Have you tried installing an older version of Emby then upgrading?
I've seen weird things happen like this before with other software.

No. I'd love to give it a try. Where can it be downloaded? Only the latest is on the Emby page

Yes it can be. Qmono? What's that? Ts-120 x19 I'm looking for .. but I can't find ...

Is it not just a standard package for all affected models, I presume its something to do with the Marvell CPU, I could be wrong?

1, Mono installed (run)

2, Emby installed (old, new)

3, Nas restarted, unfortunately it's not good either.

The next will be to reset the NAS to factory settings, re-initialize it :(

Is it normal for me to click to run mono, nothing happens?

the IP why: 127.0.0.1 the error log is good so?

Or where did you get the 192.168.49 IP?

For me all 192.168.0.5 is correct

127.0.0.1 is just an alternative way of saying LOCALHOST so ignore.

192.168.0.49 is your laptop/pc

Sorry I know nothing about Qmono or the TS-120 as I have a much higher spec x64 Intel based QNAP Nas that doesn't use Qmono.

I'd say Qmono is just an OS Framework just like .net for Windows, you don't run anything just install it.

However it looks like the logs tell you to install Qmono 5.12 or greater, you have v5.10. That last link I gave you was for v6.12

Maybe this might help?

Something about nstalling Qmono first whatever that maybe

QMono is no longer needed. Everything is self-contained now. Are you still running into this.

Does this model not support QTS 5?

TS-120 I look does not support.

It cannot be installed on it.

Could this be the problem? This was not written as a condition
